I love my family and my cat Maddie. I love crafty things and go crazy for ribbons and buttons...just because I think they are cool...and I know how that makes me a big nerd, but I don't care!
I love my Oakley sunnies - they are the only eyewear that I will wear. Being in the sun or the sea makes me happy.
I think exercise is important and try to do some form of it every day...I say everyday, but what I really mean is at least 3 times a week.
I appreciate good coffee, and love to go out for brekkie on the weekend. I love to try new resturants and to drink good wine. I love to take photos - even if I am not very good at it, and am a sucker for cutsie designer thingys, good books, craft markets and silly romantic comedies.
I have an obsession with planning events and making cupcakes and cakes...hopefully that is what I'll end up doing full-time one day, but for the moment you can check out my other blog to see what I've been baking.
At the beginning of 2011 I moved back to Durbs (after living and working in Cape Town for the last few years). I've started this blog so that I can keep track of the new adventures as they unfold, and stay in touch with "my people" who still live in CT
